She Real
A Breathe of Fresh Air for Hip Hop

IDRAMP album
In her ninth album "I Don't Rap About My Pu$$y," She Real delivers a powerful and unapologetic critique of the current state of Hip Hop, where hyper-sexualization often overshadows true artistry. This project is a bold statement in a genre that has increasingly reduced the contributions of Black women to mere stereotypes. With a commitment to substance over sensationalism, She Real reclaims the narrative through masterful lyricism, compelling storytelling, and sharp social commentary.

Bio
A Journey of Triumph Over Adversity
SHE REAL’s story begins in Harlem, New York, where her love for music was sparked at an early age. Watching her father write and record songs in their living room as a child, SHE REAL was inspired to write her first song at just nine years old. However, she spent the next decade chasing her dream of becoming a professional basketball player.
Her focus shifted after a life-altering event at 19—a sexual assault by her then-boyfriend. With basketball no longer enough to maintain her sanity, music became her healing outlet, allowing her to transform pain into power. This decision to pursue music professionally marked a turning point in her life, and since then, she has used her craft not only to reclaim her own voice but to inspire others to channel their struggles into something meaningful.
SXSW 2025 Performance
SHE REAL’s momentum has led her to become an official showcasing artist at the 2025 South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival, taking place on March 13th, 2025 at Antone's Nightclub (305 E 5th St.) in Austin, Texas. This event features Netflix’s Rhythm & Flow Season 2 winner DreTL, rising Hip Hop star AJ McQueen, Roc-A-Fella Records affiliate Grafh, and more.
